Robert Pearce has been developing training presentations for the educational community for the past three years. He is primarily working with the Pupil Achievement Tracking software, preparing step by step training documents and classes that can be customized to the needs of the school and the LEA. He was instrumental in testing the emerging package from the outset and has a very deep working knowledge of the PAT and the benefits it offers.

CV

Having worked in textile manufacturing for more than 30 years may not seem a sound basis for training educationalists in the use of computer packages and analysis. Textiles is a rapidly moving environment which demands attention to detail and a high level of flexibility.

As a result, computers have played an important part in Rob’s life since the 1960s. To a senior manager within the industry, training is central to the good health of a company and the personnel within it. So is dealing with a variety of personnel at all levels. This means that Rob’s approach is tailored to the situation in which he finds himself. He has a pleasant personality with an appropriate sense of humour.

His overriding concern is that of achieving the best possible result in the time given to him; to ensure, as far as is possible, that all concerned understand how to maintain and use PAT. Many of the bookings he receives are as a result of personal recommendation. He has trained in many hundreds of schools nationally.
